What the Process Looks Like

An assessment usually involves an initial conversation to understand your concerns, one or more structured testing sessions, and a dedicated feedback session where we talk through what we found in plain language. You’ll receive a written report you can use with schools, workplaces, GPs or other professionals. Throughout, our focus is on making the process feel calm and unhurried — assessments can feel daunting, and we work hard to make them the opposite.

Fees & Rebates

Assessments are charged at an hourly rate, and the total depends on the scope of what’s involved. We’ll talk through the likely scope and cost with you upfront, so there are no surprises. Assessments themselves aren’t Medicare-rebatable, though if you have a Mental Health Care Plan, rebates may apply to any treatment sessions afterwards.
