You'll discuss your feelings, behaviors, relationships, goals, or concerns. We aim to understand your perspective and provide new strategies, fresh insights, and evidence-based treatments. Sessions often include an educational component.

No, you can see a psychologist privately without a referral. However, to claim the Medicare rebate, you’ll need a Mental Health Care Plan from your doctor. A referral is also required for WorkCover and motor vehicle accident insurance claims, but not for private health insurance.

Psychiatrists are medical doctors who specialize in mental illness and often prescribe medication.
Psychologists have at least six years of training and use non-medication-based therapy.
Clinical psychologists undergo additional training and supervision, specializing in conditions like anxiety, depression, and complex mental health issues.

You’ll need a Mental Health Care Plan from your doctor, who will assess you and provide a referral.

Yes, a family member or carer may attend up to two sessions on behalf of the person with a Mental Health Care Plan, if approved by their GP or psychologist. The session must benefit the individual with the plan.

Standard 50-minute session: $265
Longer sessions are available and billed accordingly.
Payment is required at the time of your consultation. We accept card payments, and rebates can often be processed on the spot.
✅ Medicare rebates available – If you have a Mental Health Care Plan from your GP, you may be eligible for a Medicare rebate of $141.85 per session with a Clinical Psychologist.

✅ Private health insurance – If you have extras cover that includes psychology, claims can be processed at the time of payment via HICAPS.

Your appointment time is reserved for you. If you need to cancel, please provide at least 24 hours' notice so we can offer the slot to someone else.
Monday appointments must be cancelled by 3pm the previous Saturday.🔹 Reminders: You will receive an email and SMS 48 to 72 hours before your appointment.
